Letter from our firm

Like you, we're monitoring the latest news about the coronavirus (COVID-19). As part of Spectrum Accounting's commitment to you – and our dedication to providing you with the services you need to keep you and your business moving forward – we wanted to provide you with an update regarding measures we are taking in response to the spread of the coronavirus. In an effort to protect the health and safety of our clients and staff, Spectrum Accounting is following and implementing guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

To minimize potential exposure to COVID-19, Spectrum Accounting will be practicing “social distancing” and will take steps to keep a distance from others with the hopes of preventing the spread of the disease. In order to do that, we will be taking the following measures:

As part of our social distancing, we are limiting physical contact and will be closing our office to clients for the time being. Many of our employees will be working from home so they may not be available in the office should you stop by.

All clients are encouraged to upload their tax documents via our secure portal, Liscio, or mail your documents to our office. If you have not yet set up Liscio or have questions, please contact our office. Once your tax returns are completed, we are also able to send your completed tax return to you for electronic signature via Liscio.

We are asking all clients to communicate via phone, email or Liscio and to reschedule their appointments with us for a later date. If you feel the meeting is crucial, please request a remote meeting and we will set up an online video conference via Zoom.

In the future if you do come to our offices, please note we are following the CDC’s guidelines and we are doing all we can to practice good hygiene and sanitation practices for all surfaces, doorknobs, and telephones. In order to reduce exposure further, we have a mail slot that you can use at any time for paper documents.

We hope that by taking these steps, we will do our part to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, and lessen its impact on our staff and our clients. Please know that we will continue to work and provide you with the same high-quality services you’ve become accustomed to during this time of heightened concern.
